Consists of 7 major academic institutions with active clinically based programs throughout the United States. Each site has fellowship-trained specialists in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery with active surgical and medical practices.

The members work together to develop and conduct research studies of treatments for women with

  • pelvic floor disorders
  • urinary and fecal incontinence
  • pelvic organ prolapse
  • overactive bladder
  • recurrent urinary tract infections
  • fistulas
  • defecatory dysfunction

We formed this consortium to increase study recruitment efforts so that projects can be completed more quickly allowing us to learn and impact the care of our patients. Each site has its respective research staff consisting of doctors, nurses, coordinators, and allied health professionals to help in research study procedures.
